About Mr. Mercredi

Hello. I’m Mr. Mercredi.

My name is Marcel (he/him) and I’m the organizer behind Trans Jam ATL. I am a hedonist, a sadist, and bondage enthusiast from Atlanta, Georgia. I bring over a decade of BDSM experience to the conversation. I cut my bay teeth as a leather queer then discovered rope bondage was at the intersection of my professional experience and skills. I fell deeply in love with the intensity and the aesthetics of rope. I am a switchy rope nerd with an eagerness to deep dive and pick apart the how’s and why’s of our choices when tying and being tied. I am a carpenter with a background in professional theater. I am a vintage motorcycle enthusiast, a long time rider and wrencher. The skills I utilize in these areas directly influence my approach to understanding the physics and mechanics of tying and being tied. I am a hands on learner and I love finding the devil in the details. I am personally fascinated by the somatics of rope, the psychological and emotional experiences of bondage, sadism, and domination, and the relational human to human interactions that happen when people connect using rope. I approach my rope spaces with curiosity, playfulness, intention, and emotionality. When I am not teaching or facilitating for rope and kink, I can be found offering peer death and grief support for my trans community, sharing food with friends, and tending to my cat and garden.

My facilitating strengths lie in building and drilling the basic toolkit of tying components as well as bottom centered labtime. I like to address learning from both a bottom and top perspective and prefer to meet people where they are at in their personal growth and work on building their skills from there. I offer instruction and guidance on building and honing what I call the rope bondage toolkit (such as cuffs, columns, knots, frictions, hitches, cinches, etc…), drills for building and refining skills, applying the basic components into upper and lower body harnesses, beginner’s rope handling, body mechanics and movement theory, introduction to uplines for ring or bamboo, playing with partials and predicaments, tying with bamboo for floorwork/predicaments/ suspension, rope bondage for bedroom play, and a crash course on types of rope, hard points, and equipment care and safety.

About Rabbit

Hello! My name is Rabbit.

I teach Shibari with a focus on self-connection, emotional presence, and intentional movement. My studies have included a wide range of Shibari intensives and Kinbaku styles, which inform both my technique and my values in rope.

As an educator, I strive to create a consent-based and queer-inclusive learning environment where all bodies, identities, and experiences are welcomed and respected. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to deepen your rope practice, I aim to support your growth through thoughtful instruction, clear communication, and a grounding in connection and care.

For me, rope is a collaborative dialogue one rooted in trust, curiosity, and the power of being present with one another. I’m here to help you find your voice and confidence in that conversation.

About Knot Posh

As Knot Posh, I am a Shibari rigger and studio owner based in the Savannah, GA area. My journey began in 2019 and evolved into a deep passion for Shibari during the COVID-19 period. What started as a personal practice has grown into a thriving community endeavor, leading to the establishment of Shibari ARTlanta which offers classes and workshops focusing on technique, safety, and artistic expression.

I approach Shibari as a collaborative art form and a tool for deepening the connection between two people. For me, Shibari represents the perfect blend of creative expression and problem-solving. It allows me to create beautiful, ephemeral moments with my models through non-verbal communication. I tie often for my own photgraphy as well as for other people’s works including a few music videos.

I focus on expanding my skillset and knowledge of Shibari through constant training with the masters of our time. You can even join me in Mexico for an exclusive shibari retreat if an intensive experience is more your style! Feel free to check out my work:
